Our
Mission

At CITE (Community Initiative for Trial Equity), we’re on a mission to revolutionize clinical research by ensuring that people of color are not just included—but centered. We exist to break down systemic barriers, build trust, and create a future where medical breakthroughs reflect the brilliance and diversity of all communities. Through bold partnerships, culturally responsive trial design, and grassroots advocacy, we’re making equity in science not just a goal—but a reality.

Why This Matters

Because the future of medicine should include all of us.

Clinical trials are the engine of medical innovation—but for far too long, people of color have been left out of the equation. That’s not just a missed opportunity. It’s a crisis.

At CITE (Community Initiative for Trial Equity), we’re not just asking for a seat at the table—we’re building a new one. One where trust, representation, and equity are the foundation of every breakthrough.

Therapeutic Areas
We Focus on

We are initially focusing our efforts on therapeutic areas that disproportionately affect people of color. These include cardiovascular, diabetes, cancer, etc. By concentrating on these critical areas, we aim to make a tangible difference in the health outcomes of the communities we serve.
